5 Ways Food Vendors Can Use Storebox

5 Ways Food Vendors Can Use Storebox

From the 7-22 May the Eat Cambridge Festival will be taking over the Cambridge Corn Exchange for their annual food and drink festival. With so many amazing independent vendors making their way to the festival, it got us thinking, how can Storebox help make exhibiting at this event that much easier? At Storebox, we want to make sure you can easily access your unit at any time, with easy access to allow you to load and unload with ease. For food vendors who want to exhibit at these events, it’s important they have somewhere safe, dry and easily accessible to store their equipment, transport or even ingredients and produce. With this in mind, we’ve put together 5 ways food vendors can use Storebox to help them get festival ready. Food Van Storage If you primarily do business from a food van, you may need somewhere to store it when it is not in use. The only thing we ask is that you remove anything that is flammable or explosive, such as gas cylinders you may use for a hob or any other cooking equipment your van may house. Out containers are large enough to be able to securely store a regular sized food van, allowing you a bit more room on the driveway at home. Store Ingredients If you’re attending a festival and have stocked up on ingredients especially for the tasty food you’re planning to cook for the festival goers, you may need that extra bit of space. You can store whatever ingredients you may need for the event, but again, make sure it’s not flammable, so maybe keep the cooking oil at home. Stock to sell You may be a food vender that sells their own produce and ready made treats. You can use Storebox to keep all of your stock safe and sound until you need to load them up and ship them to your event. If you plan to store fresh produce, make sure you have suitable containers/shelving to keep everything nice and protected. Equipment Storage If there are pieces of equipment you need for the day, such as pots, pans, grills etc. You can store them all out of the way, then drive your van right up to your container and load it all up on the day. Again, making sure to keep all flammable materials and substances at home. Stall Furniture and Displays You may need somewhere to keep all of your backdrops or fancy displays you want to use, to make your business stand out and get those customers flocking to you. You can store any chairs, tables, displays and any other parts of your stall. Again, with our easy access, it is super easy to get all of your items loaded and unloaded when you need to.
